Agenda: The sole purpose of this meeting was to develop a presentation to be made before the Legislative Oversight Commission on Higher Education Accountability (LOCEA) August 21, 2001. A PowerPoint presentation was developed with reference to the following areas:

  1. System-wide and Institutional Issues Affecting Classified Employees
  2. Changes in the Role of the ACCE
  3. Personnel Rule
  4. System-wide Rules including Leave, the Classification System, Grievance Procedure, Benefits, Compensation, and Personnel Actions
  5. Campus Salary Implementation Plans effective October 1, 2001
  6. Institutional Board of Governors (IBOG) approval of Salary Plans as of August 21, 2001
  7. Justification for Full Implementation of the Classified Employee Salary Schedule
  8. Commitment Requested from the West Virginia Legislature

The Chair, Ms. Pitzer, presented to materials to LOCEA on behalf of the ACCE.
